The ACCA Foundations in Accountancy includes a CAT Qualification which is a globally recognised program designed to equip you with the technical skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an accounting technician role. Offered through HIghwoods Institute this program provides a comprehensive foundation in accounting principles, preparing you for success in the field.

What You'll Learn:

Our ACCA CAT program is structured clearly and progressively, covering a range of in-demand accounting topics:

• Core Accounting Skills: Master the fundamentals of recording financial transactions (FA1 or FA2) and maintaining financial records (FA1 or FA2). You'll also gain a strong understanding of management information (MA1) and managing costs and finances (MA2).
• Business & Accounting Integration: Explore the interconnectivity of business and accounting through the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business. This includes in-depth modules on business and technology (FBT), management accounting (FMA), and financial accounting (FFA).
• Specialised Knowledge: Deepen your understanding of two specific accounting areas by choosing two out of three specialist exams: Foundations in Audit (FAU), Foundations in Taxation (FTX), or Foundation in Financial Management (FFM).

Beyond the Classroom:

In addition to the core curriculum, our ACCA CAT program incorporates practical experience to solidify your learning. You'll also complete the Foundations in Professionalism module, ensuring you understand the ethical and professional standards expected of accountants.
